The Information Technology Company (ETI) invites Cuban economic actors, international companies, and branch offices belonging to the information technology and communications sector to participate in the Commercial Fair and Business Round that will be associated with the SIGESTIC'23 event, which will take place on the 12th and 13th of September 2023 at Plaza America Convention Center, Varadero, Matanzas.

The space, which will run parallel to the scientific event, will promote commercial exchange, generating business opportunities and/or partnerships between companies in the sector and boost business promotion by providing a direct meeting between suppliers, potential customers, and economic actors in the industry.

The SIGESTIC 2023 Commercial Fair is structured to include two main segments: an exhibition and a meetings program.

COMMERCIAL FAIR

The Information Technology Company (ETI) of the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industries Group (BioCubaFarma) presents a specialized exhibition area with an open call to Cuban economic actors, international companies, and branch offices in the information technology and communication industry. This event will provide companies with a platform to showcase their commercial offerings and network. Additionally, to provide facilities for present products, services, and innovative solutions, the enclave will allow too for the exchange of best practices and lessons learned. 

APPLICATION TO JOIN

You can apply in person at the Information Technology Company offices or by email at comercial@eti.biocubafarma.cu for exhibitor status at the commercial fair.

Contracting space by June 30th, 2023, and signing a participation contract with the event organizer is required. 

The reservation of the exhibitor space will only become official upon payment of the corresponding participation fee, according to the terms and conditions established in the contract to be signed.

PARTICIPATION FEE

For participation in the event, conditioned spaces will be provided, in which the exhibitors will only decide on the disposition of the exhibits and the ambiance related to them.

  • For Cuban participants, the fee is 89 750 CUPP. 
  • For international participants, the fee is 850 USD.
The fee includes,
  • Delivery of one (1) credential in the exhibitor category, including accreditation module and lodging.
  • Space.
  • Customization of the booth graphics based on the identification with the name and logo of the exhibiting company, in combination with the event identity.
  • Electricity supply.
  • Protection of samples during off-show hours.
  • Participation in the Business Round, in the fair program, and the social activities of the general program of the event.
  • Inclusion in the official exhibitor's catalog.
  • Exhibitor certificate.

BUSINESS ROUND

It will concentrate on a unique and common meeting point for the realization of a cycle of negotiation appointments based on a personalized program of meetings with the companies that will be exhibiting at the Trade Fair. Access will be exclusively through accreditations.

REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION IN THE BUSINESS ROUND

Participation in the Business Round will be a mandatory condition for the exhibitors of the Commercial Fair.

The participants in the scientific event interested in participating in the Business Round may register if they are willing to set up a meeting with the exhibitors. To do so, they must be accredited by digitally completing an application form on this website, which will be available as of July 1, 2023, once the call for accreditation is open.

In the registration form, the interested party must indicate the exhibitor with whom he/she wishes to have a meeting, as well as a preferred date for the meeting from among the two days of the fair.

PROGRAM OF MEETINGS

Based on the requests received, the SIGESTIC'23 Organizing Committee will draw up the official program of meetings, which will be confirmed via email to the contact links established by each company during the last week of August 2023.

COST OF PARTICIPATION

Registration for the Business Round is free of charge.

IMPORTANT DATES:
  • June 30, 2023 Deadline for receipt and formalization of applications for participation in the Commercial Fair. 
  • July 1, 2023: Beginning the registration process for accreditation in the Business Round.
  • July 31, 2023: Deadline for receipt of applications for registration in the Business Round.
  • Last week of August 2023: Confirmation of the Business Round meeting schedule.
  • September 1, 2023: Disclosure of the Commercial Fair program.
  • September 11, 2023: Set up and decoration of stands.
  • September 13, 2023: Dismantling of stands (after the close of the event).
